about the translator

i've been studying japanese since about 2016, though i would hardly call myself proficient. my only formal training was two years of japanese courses in uni and self-studying on and off throughout the years. i hope to improve my skills once i have the time, but for now, i try to translate to the best of my ability to share the things i love! many of my interests are hard to get into due to the language barrier, so that's why i found myself interested in translation—to help others enjoy these and to better appreciate the source material as it is.

regarding my translation style, i lean towards localization though i do retain certain cultural aspects (such as honorifics and name order). that said, i'm far from fluent, so please kindly correct me if you see any errors. thank you for reading my translations!
