about the artist

i've been into art ever since i could pick up a crayon, but i only started taking it seriously around 2016. i began dabbling in digital art in grade school as many a tweenage weeb was wont to do and i've stuck with it since! currently, i use an xp-pen deco mw and clip studio paint as my tools of trade. with them, i illustrate scenes that come to mind, but i'm trying to branch out more—both in medium and mode.

speaking of mediums, i have a camera too. i would hardly call myself a photographer, but my mom gifted it to me and i thought it'd be a waste to let it collect dust. along with my illustrations, you'll find some of my photos as well.

while i do have other works in my portfolio, what's presented here are the pieces that i'm most proud of. art, to me, is simply my way of expressing my vision, but i share it in the offhand chance that someone else may enjoy it as well. thank you for taking the time to check out my art!

This illustration portrays the moment she gouged her eyes in order to gain more Attar, as her nightmares led her to believe she had none to proceed to Far Arbor. She has stumbled out of bed and gone to the bathroom, looking into the mirror as she commits the act. Her hair is disheveled, her irises small and sclera bloodied. Blood pours out of her eyes. She's in the process of cutting up her left eye. Her nightgown is also bloodied. She has a smile on her face.

It's a bust shot of Doppo, his hands clasped in prayer and wrapped around by his lanyard. He wears a solemn expression, his eyes closed -- or rather, his eyes covered by Jakurai's hands. Though Jakurai's face isn't seen, he holds Matenrou's cross in front of Doppo, the chain forming the outline of a muzzle around Doppo's mouth. Behind Doppo is what appears to be Jakurai's hair cascading around him. Light shines from the bottom, casting dark shadows throughout.

An illustration based on my histology studies. It's a fusion of an areolar tissue and mesenchyme; a pink cell with white fibrous threads all over the place as if it were a web. In the middle, the threads hold together a cocoon, and within the cocoon appears to be a fetus-like figure. Around the cell are a bunch of blue flecks.

A parody of Sound Horizon's 7.5/8.5th Story blu-ray Ema ni Negai wo! (Prologue Edition) featuring Matenrou from Hypnosis Mic, a play on the song Rouran Jinja, which contains that same character ('rou') used to write 'Matenrou'. The background is a glorious Shinto shrine, emitting gold light as if from the heavens. There is a set of stairs leading to the shrine's entrance, where Hifumi (right) and Doppo (left) open the way. They are dressed as kannushi, with Hifumi in purple and Doppo in blue. Jakurai (dressed as the Shrine Official, who wears a wolf mask and Shinto priest garb) stands at the entrance of the shrine, the gold light and the distance making him seem like a godly figure. Two komainu flank his sides, one purple (right) and one blue (left) -- behind Hifumi and Doppo respectively. From right to left, there is a highlight of a purple to blue gradient. The shrine is also shrouded in golden smoke, and the scene is set during a starry night sky.

On top, Fling Posse (Hypnosis Mic), set in Stella (Ramuda as the scientist, Gentaro as the thief, and Dice as the king). They are lying on the stars, on top of a sigil from the Stella PV that represents their bond; they are all holding each others' hands with their heads meeting in the center. Their eyes are closed, but they are content -- happy with each other. While mostly cool, galactic colors, the stars are shaded in blues, reds, and greens to represent RGB (or, Fling Posse). The light shines from underneath them. On the bottom, Fling Posse, in the same pose as the Stella-verse piece, but now in their modern day attire. Now they are shaded in black to represent their Black Journey, with the background being yellow. They lay on top of another sigil that represents how their bond reincarnated to the modern era.

As Gentaro sinks into the sea, Hifumi caresses Gentaro's face and looks at him with a shocked expression. Gentaro's eyes are closed, and bubbles are coming out of his mouth where his breath should be. Hifumi has a golden tail with orangey-magenta accents. The fins at the end are gold with orangey-magenta tips. There are fins coming out of his hips and shoulders, which are the same color. He also has golden scales on his skin. Hifumi is wearing his red pendant too. Surrounding them is nothing but blue, growing darker as your eyes go down the illustration.
